Tableware that enhances your food

We invited Mr. Tozuka, the owner and chef of the long-established California-Mexican restaurant "Lajolla" in Kyoto, which has been a friend of ours for decades since childhood and which sadly closed at the end of 2023, to hold a session on tableware and California-Mexican food.

Even if the same dish is used, the presence and atmosphere of the dish itself changes completely when the food is changed...

I think that's the appeal of tableware that can be used as a tool to enhance the food.

When choosing tableware, I wonder what would happen if I paired this dish with this dish...

It's fun to imagine such things.
