Visit to Furutani Pottery factory

In conjunction with the opening of the TAMOTO lifestyle shop, we visited Furutani Pottery Factory in Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture.

Furutani-san is already very popular nationwide, but when I visited, everyone was so kind to me and I felt that his good personality was reflected in his work.

And it's no wonder that this warm design is so appealing to so many people.

Seeing the process of how it is made made me love it even more.
