My encounter with Wakayama began when I saw his work on a mutual friend's Instagram and fell in love at first sight.

This was still in the planning stages before the TAMOTO lifestyle shop was launched, but I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the venue where my works were being exhibited, so I was able to discuss my ideas and we decided to start selling them when the web shop launched.

The flat vessel features a dry landscape design that incorporates a large amount of Japanese elements, yet has a modern and sharp appearance reminiscent of modern architecture.

When I actually tried using it, I realized that it was a versatile and stylish tableware that could be used for everything from cooking to sweets and fruit, both Japanese and Western, and I became even more drawn to it.

TAMOTO lifestyle store acts as the mail order department for WAKYAMA YOSHIHIRO's works, and sells them not only in stores but also nationwide through its online shop.
